It comes at a low fixed price of $250 and is supported with lots of online support notes. Telephone support is not available but email support is. It is designed with the smaller employer in mind and after 20 employees you would look for payroll software with more clout. Setup and training is recommended for new users.
IMS Payroll is a sophisticated, powerful payroll which can run on the desktop or online. Both allow multi-user access. IMS has both small and enterprise level users with pricing dependent on the number of employees. IMS comes with unlimited telephone support but new users should undertake training to ensure their setup is done correctly. IMS has a number of add-ons which help those larger businesses with their management.
EXO Employer Services is both desktop and cloud based. It is a sophisticated, powerful payroll with plenty of features for the medium or larger employer. It is priced according to the number of employees (not the number of payrolls) and is supported by MYOB Business Partners or MYOB technical support. This program has a number of add-ons to supplement the payroll. It feeds a journal to most accounting systems. Setup and training is highly recommended when you purchase this product.
MYOB Payroll has a distinct advantage to those mentioned above. It integrates directly to MYOB AccountRight (or previous versions) and therefore ensures that both your systems agree.
