The following are the changes to MYOB Payroll 2009 software release:

PAYE income tax rates – new rates and thresholds to calculate PAYE
Student loan – changes to the thresholds level up to $19,084 (from $18,148)
ACC levy – new rates for the employee levy
Independent earner tax credit for middle income earners (max $10 per week)
New tax codes for middle income earners – ME and ME-SL
KiwiSaver – compulsory employer contribution increases to 2% (from 1%)
Removal of the employer tax credit from 1 April 2009
Capping of Employer Super Contribution Tax (ESCT) to 2% (was 4%)

    Can I get a download for the new April 1st payroll changes??
    Do I have to pay for this or does my last upgrade include it??

    Unless you are on a BusinesSupport plan, you will have to pay for the 2009 upgrade. The prices are either:

    MYOB Payroll upgrade (with no plan) $249 + GST or
    MYOB Payroll BusinesSupport Plan (12 months including free phone support) $354 + GST

    It is better to be on a plan as you will also receive the upgrades throughout the year and as well as the one as at 1/4/10.

    The tax codes for individuals have not updated to allow me to use ME or MESL? And i have done the down load? is this a common problem or is my computer playing games with me?

    thank you ur information was very helpful im trying to put 5 or more decimals into the quantity but it wont let me how do i move the decimal point. or add more numbers to the quantity.

    E.G I need to divide 5 bins amoung 6 people to get a total of 0.83333

    Please help
