Lynley Averis
B Com, Dip T, MYOB Certified Consultant
Lynley has been involved in training and computing in New Zealand and Australia since 1985. A qualified tertiary teacher, she has written various accounting and MYOB workbooks used in Australia and New Zealand. She has consulted on all MYOB Accounting products and MYOB Payroll over the past 12 years and has been directly employed by MYOB NZ as Training Manager – Business Division.
Prior to MYOB, Lynley was a director of JumpStart Ltd which was acquired by MYOB in 2006.
Lynley is a member of the MYOB Certified Consultants (these are specialist consultants certified by MYOB to provide on-site installation, setup, training and MYOB customisation). She likes to work with MYOB RetailManager, Payroll and Accounting (in that order!)
She continues to work closely with MYOB NZ to deliver MYOB courses and seminars. She is a Business Mentor with Business Mentors NZ, a voluntary agency under the aspices of NZ Trade & Enterprise. She co-authored “Bookkeeping for Dummies” by Australian writer, Veechi Curtis and Lynley Averis (published by Wiley, July 2010).

Anil Lamba
Anil has been using MYOB for 10 years and has been an MYOB Certified Consultant for the past 2 years. He is a CA from India and an ACA from New Zealand. He has worked in a medium sized CA firm from 2001 till December 2010 where he was also in charge of MYOB training, setup and installation supporting the clients with their MYOB issues. Anil co-presented the September GST seminars on behalf of MYOB NZ to more than 600 MYOB customers in Auckland. Anil uses his accounting knowledge and background to extract the best out of the MYOB package. He has a hands-on approach to MYOB.

Kathy Mitchell
Kathy has been working with MYOB software for 4 years. She completed her Certified Consultant training in 2009 achieving one of the top scores in the assessment.
Originally qualified in science, with a background in research and development, Kathy has honed her analytical skills and ability to teach people during the years she has worked successfully as an accounts contractor. During this time she has managed a wide range of businesses, including two of her own, utilising the MYOB program.
Kathy is clear and concise in her training methods. Clients, and their staff, have commented on how supported they have felt under Kathy’s guidance. Kathy’s extensive practical business experience, teamed with her technical knowledge of MYOB ensures an excellent outcome.
